Le collier PROCESS-STOP<\/strong> est un dispositif de lutte \u00e9cologique, qui permet d\u2019intercepter les chenilles du pin (vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019arbres \u00e0 feuilles type aiguilles) lors de leur descente le long du tronc, au moment o\u00f9 elles cherchent \u00e0 rejoindre le sol. La mise en place doit se faire en fonction de la zone climatique.
\nLe collier PROCESS-STOP est un syst\u00e8me ing\u00e9nieux et simple qui n\u00e9c\u00e9ssite aucun insecticide ni ph\u00e9romone. Il s\u2019installe directement sur le tronc de l\u2019arbre qui est infest\u00e9 de nids.<\/p>\n

La chenille processionnaire<\/strong> :
\nC\u2019est un insecte phytophage qui se nourrit des feuilles de pin (aiguilles) jusqu\u2019\u00e0 causer l\u2019appauvrissement de l\u2019arbre. Il est un danger en hygi\u00e8ne publique<\/strong> car, au stade larvaire, la chenille qui se sent menac\u00e9e par la proximit\u00e9 des hommes peut \u00e9mettre des poils tr\u00e8s urticants<\/strong> capables d\u2019irriter longuement jusqu\u2019\u00e0 bloquer les voies respiratoires (si ingestion des poils) ou causer des l\u00e9sions occulaires.
